A Boom through the Valley / Det drønner gjennom dalen

An exciting time image from 1931 - the year of unemployment and misery in the forest settlements in Norway. The film is important both as film history and social portrayal. We get an insight into working conditions and class contradictions between timber floats and forest owners. Based on the events of the Julussa conflict and the Vestmarka, burgeoning organization, unity and strike are portrayed.
