Act of Vengeance
A historical film where regional trade union leader Joseph Yablonski accused UMWA president Tony Boyle of corruption and undermining democracy. In 1969, Yablonski challenged Boyle for the presidency of the international union but was defeated. Boyle rigged the election and later ordered the murder of Yablonski and his family. The movie is overly long, partly because the former miners struggled to finish off their victim. Charles Buchinsky (Death Wish) played the main role, and a young Keanu Reeves (The Matrix) was spotted among the killers. The movie is based on the book, Act of Vengeance by Trevor Armbrister.
