Attention! Bandits!

Despite General Alexander’s call for the partisans to retreat to the mountains until spring, Commander Vento and political commissar Lorenzo lead their group to Pontedecimo, near Genoa, to reconnect with the city. Lacking weapons, they plan to seize them from a factory. When their courier is killed, they continue anyway. Inside the factory, German troops are dismantling the machines to send them to Germany, but the workers resist, staging a kind of strike and slowdown while the partisans steal the weapons. When the theft is discovered, workers and partisans fight side by side against the Germans. The factory’s engineer chooses death rather than collaboration, and the arrival of Salò soldiers who defect to the partisans finally saves the factory and its machines.
