Capital vs. Labor
Anti-union movie. The film presents a romantic triangle set against the backdrop of a violent factory strike. The heroine is courted by two men: a young militia officer and a clergyman. When a worker's strike spirals into a destructive riot, the militia officer retreats to fetch his regiment. However, the clergyman bravely confronts the mob and successfully negotiates with the factory owner to grant the workers' demands. The film concludes with the clergyman winning the heroine's affection and demonstrating the power of moral persuasion over military force
