Sun Hi, a mother of two children, works as a cashier in a large supermarket, believing that hard work will secure a good future for her children. However, the company suddenly announces the dismissal of her and other temporary workers. A protest strike erupts, but the unity among the strikers is not as strong as one might hope... The film is based on the 512-day strike of female workers that began in 2007 at the E-Land Group retail chain.
