Cesar Chavez

In the mid-1960s in California, two groups of Latino organizers formed a union for farm laborers (braceros) from the countless Mexican migrants. One of the groups was led by the legendary César Chávez. The film is dedicated to Chávez's fight for the union, United Farm Workers, and is filled with scenes of peaceful campaigns, marches, and strikes, as well as violent clashes with the enforcers hired by landowners unwilling to recognize this rising force.
