Since 2008, northern Italy has been the scene of extraordinary events. Companies, politicians and the media are using the crisis to further erode workers’ already fragile rights. At the other end of the wage scale, however, a lively and powerful resistance is taking shape.
It is precisely the precarious and predominantly migrant workers in the logistics sector who have managed, through solidarity and effective organizing, to fight their way out of isolation and humiliating working conditions. Their struggle changes not only their working conditions but their entire lives.

They frighten you so much that you do not even say ‘A’. You say nothing, you just work, piece by piece, piece by piece...
