The story centers around a young intern who is doing a placement in the management of a large company. The more successful his work becomes, the worse his relationships with those around him, his family, and former friends get. The board of directors initiates staff cuts, and the protagonist decides to take the side of the workers. However, he is unaware of the consequences this choice will have for him.
