Roots of Blood / Raíces de sangre

On a roadside in Texas, a man wipes away his traces and abandons a truck containing the bodies of undocumented Mexican migrants. Elsewhere, a young lawyer named Carlos—who at first only wants to make money through his profession—joins a group of Chicanos who are fighting for the rights of undocumented workers employed at the Morris factory, owned by Mr. Flint. Meanwhile, at Morris’s Mexican branch, the workers organize to defend their rights and coordinate their actions with the workers at both plants.
