Santosh

An Indian intrigue. The ruthless Kamla falls in love with a poor man, marries him, and gives birth to Santosh. After abandoning her impoverished husband and child, she marries millionaire Kailashpati and gives birth to Kundan. Years pass. Kundan and his mother are mill owners, while Santosh is a worker there and a union activist. During a strike, Kamla manages to negotiate and get the workers back, but she fails to keep the promises she made to them. When Santosh stands up against her, Kamla sets thugs on him and turns Kundan against him. Kamla and Kundan kidnap Santosh and hold him captive. His only path to freedom is to find a compromise with them.
