Sunday Too Far Away
The mid-1950s, deep in the South Australian bush. The sheep shearers, drinking like sailors and working like oxen, live a tough life. The film, unvarnished, portrays the life of one shearer crew, who, however, know how to fight not just when drunk. Their leader, Foley, demands higher wages from the landowners, who bring in strikebreakers—and that's when the real conflict begins...
