Three Sides

In June 2009, Prime Minister V.V. Putin visited the small town of Pikalyovo in the Leningrad region to investigate the ongoing dispute between the owners of three factories. The workers had become victims of the situation and unemployment. He aimed to resolve the issue "however necessary" and punish "whoever was at fault." The film tells the story of how it all started, how events unfolded, and what happened two years later, through the perspectives of the town's residents, union leaders, and officials.
