But how does this freedom work? Does it really work in practice? Or do the power of money, the power of entities outside of politics, and the chaotic force of social media distort this freedom?

Therefore, the first priority must be the preservation of freedom and autonomy. People may listen to advice, receive partisan messages, or have their social media feeds flooded with content from digital influencers. But even so, they must make their own independent decisions.

When we think about elections, we tend to focus on executive offices, not always giving due importance to those running for a seat in Congress.

It is a mistake to put these campaigns on the back burner, especially since federal representatives and senators today wield immense power, which has grown significantly with the so-called parliamentary amendments.

A good legislator can allocate funds through amendments to schools, hospitals, basic sanitation, public transportation, and other sectors that help improve people’s lives.

But a corrupt lawmaker can use amendments for shady schemes, unnecessary public works, to create slush funds—in short, to fuel corruption.

How can we tell who is who—which politician seeks the common good and which one works for the collective interest?

Well. This requires voters to be well-informed, to seek to understand each candidate’s background, to assess their potential, and to evaluate the work they have already accomplished. After all, a tree is known by its fruit.

If everyone values their vote, if every citizen sees voting as a tool for justice, inclusion, and collective progress, we can greatly improve the overall quality of politics—especially by electing a Congress committed to the people, health care, jobs, rights, security, and national sovereignty.

Union

Does the union influence the worker's vote? Not quite. The leader must defend candidates committed to the working class. As a citizen. On the other hand, the Union is an entity not affiliated to parties, respecting the political variety in the professional category itself.

It is up to the Union to better guide those who do not vote than to appoint a candidate. And not vote for who? In those against democracy, against rights, against social justice, against income distribution, against women and against the poor. That kind of politician deserves our repudiation.

So look around you. Separate who is weed from who is wheat. See who's telling the truth. Yeah. There are many politicians who tell the truth. These deserve the vote of the charterer and the entire working class.
