Segertåget / Victory Train

Anger is growing among railway workers on the local trains crossing the yellow fields of southern Sweden: the train company is planning another round of cuts. Decades of competition for lucrative public railway contracts have worsened employees’ working conditions. This 27-minute documentary follows train drivers and conductors as they organize between shifts and pandemic-era online meetings to fight for justice and better working conditions. It is a story of perseverance and solidarity in a time of cutbacks. The film is in Swedish with English subtitles.
